Terms
The pilot, in plain words.
This is what you agree to when you ask for access, and again when you add a child. It is short because the pilot is simple. The privacy notice covers your data.
Last updated 30 October 2026.
Who it is for
- You are an adult, and the parent or legal guardian of every child you add.
- Your family lives in Canada. The pilot is open to families only, not to schools, clubs or tutors; if you work with children professionally, write to us instead.
- One account per family, for up to 6 children about 8 to 12. Children never sign in themselves; they use it under your account, on a device you hand them.
- Every account is approved by hand, and we may decline or remove one. You can always ask why.
What it costs
During the pilot, nothing. It is free until at least 31 January 2027. If your family was first approved during the pilot, we will email you at least 30 days before it ends for you, and you will not be charged for any day up to 31 January 2027, or for any day before those 30 days are up. Until we have sent that email, nothing changes. There is nothing to pay unless you choose a plan, and choosing one during the pilot doesn’t end your free time: if you choose before that email, the first charge waits 30 days from when you choose (and never comes before 31 January 2027 is over), and once the email has gone, until at least 30 days after it. If you haven’t chosen a plan when your free time ends, nothing is charged, and your children’s sessions pause until you do. You can export or delete everything first.
The plan. One plan covers the whole family, every child you add: CA$29 a month or CA$249 a year. A family first approved during the pilot can have it for CA$19 a month instead, for as long as it stays subscribed; if that subscription ends, whether you cancel it, payments for it fail or we remove your family, and you come back later, it is at the normal price.
After the pilot. A family first approved after the pilot gets 14 days free from approval, with no card, and an email 3 days before they end. The free days are given once per family. If you don’t choose a plan by then, nothing is charged, and your children’s sessions pause until you do.
Renewal, cancelling and refunds. A plan renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the same price unless we’ve given you notice of a change (below), until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings. After that there are no more charges, and you keep access until the end of the month or year you’ve paid for. If you cancel, we don’t refund part of a month or year. If you were charged by mistake, write to info@goodrabbithole.com within 14 days and we’ll refund it. If we remove your family, or close your account because you asked us to, we cancel your plan at once and refund the part of the month or year you hadn’t used.
Price changes. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and no sales tax (GST/HST) is added. That is for now: if sales tax is added or a price changes, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies to you, so you can cancel first. A founding price doesn’t change while you stay subscribed; sales tax, if we ever have to add it, would come with the same notice. Payments are taken by Stripe; the privacy notice says what it handles.
Limits, on every plan. Each family has a monthly AI allowance, about CA$25 of AI, which we pay for and which is included in the price. If it is ever used up, your children’s sessions pause until the next calendar month begins, then start again on their own. Nothing extra is charged. The daily limits apply too: up to 10 sessions and 40 messages a day for each child (20 and 120 for the whole family).
What it is, and isn’t
- The guide is an AI. It can be wrong, and sometimes is. It is told to say when it isn’t sure, and we tell children to check big facts with you. It is not a teacher, a tutor you have hired, or a doctor.
- Every message is checked both ways, and checks can still miss things. It is a second pair of eyes, not emergency monitoring. If a child is in danger, call your local emergency number.
- It is a pilot. Things will change, sometimes without notice, and it may be unavailable now and then.
Your part
- You supervise. Sit with your child for their first session, read the Sunday report, and look at the dashboard when we email you to.
- Keep your sign-in to yourself. A grown-up PIN keeps the parent pages away from children, and the password stays with you.
- Use it only with your own children, and only as it is meant to be used: no trying to get it to say things it shouldn’t, except to tell us when it does.
Your data, and how to leave
- What we keep, where it goes and for how long is in the privacy notice. You can download it all from settings at any time.
- To stop: delete everything from the settings page. Your children’s records go at once and cannot be brought back; your sign-in stays so you can come back. Deleting doesn’t cancel a plan: if you have one, cancel it under Your plan in Settings as well, before or after. To close the account entirely, email info@goodrabbithole.com and we will remove it.
- Removing one child in settings deletes their records and leaves the rest of the family alone.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect and update the date at the top. If you don’t agree, cancel before then and nothing more is charged. Carrying on after that means you agree to the new terms.
